Product Description
The chain is driven by the driving chain and runs continuously in the track. It plays the role of suspension and transmission in the conveyor. The conveyor chain is bidirectionally articulated, so in addition to linear motion, it can also follow the movement of the track. Curved shape, completing spatial curvilinear motion in horizontal and vertical planes.
The figure below shows a simplified diagram of the conveyor chain of the XF series conveyor. Each section (T) has 4 running wheels, 4 guides and 2 cross sections. The running wheel and the guide wheel are connected by double chain plates through cross joints and pins. After the detachable hanging plate or fixed hanging plate is hung in the middle of the pin shaft, the workpiece can be transported. Their running wheels and guide wheels both adopt double-row ball structures, and their sizes are generally φ38 and φ45 bearings as guides and running wheels, and the track width is adjusted accordingly.

Selection Guide by Operating Condition
High-Temperature Environments (200–280°C)
For curing ovens, drying tunnels, and heat-treatment lines, select XWF-series chains with heat-resistant pins and bushings. The XWF-381 and XWF-500 models feature alloy steel construction rated for continuous operation at 280°C. Pair with high-temperature chain oil and schedule automatic lubrication at 4-hour intervals to prevent pin galling.
Corrosive / Humid Environments (Electroplating, Pretreatment)
In acid-alkali exposure zones such as pretreatment tunnels and electroplating lines, specify nickel-plated or Dacromet-coated chains. Standard self-color chains will develop surface rust within 2–4 weeks in pH < 4 environments. Our Dacromet-coated XWF-400 has been field-tested for 12 months in a zinc-phosphating line with zero corrosion-related failures.
Food and Pharmaceutical Processing
When cross conveyor chains operate in food-contact zones, nickel plating combined with food-grade lubricant is mandatory for HACCP compliance. How to Select the Correct Cross Conveyor Chain by Pitch:
• 350 mm pitch (WF/XWF-350): Best for light-medium loads (50–150 kg/hanging point). Painting lines, garment conveyors, electronics assembly. Min curve radius: R600 mm.
• 381 mm pitch (WF/XWF-381): Industry standard for medium-duty enclosed track. Breaking load up to 90 KN. Auto parts finishing, appliance coating lines.
