High Temp Chain Oil
There are liquid high-temperature chain oils and solid high-temperature lubricating greas. Liquid high-temperature chain oils are added to oil cups or oiling machines to lubricate the bearings in the chain.
Automatic Oiler Systems
Specifically designed for automatic lubrication of various types of conveyor chains, the automatic oiler consists of two main parts: the main .unit and the oil spray nozzle, connected by a transparent oil hose.
Manual Oil Sprayer
These are based on manual oil cups but incorporate an electromagnetic valve in the oil passage. They utilize electrical control to achieve automatic oiling.

High Temp Chain Oil Features & Benefits
High temperature and high load
Excellent anti-wear protection
Very good steel and copper corrosion inhibition properties
Excellent oxidation stability
Free from silicone
Virtually residue-free

Requirements for high temp chain oils are the same as for standard chain oils that are used at room temperature. Friction and wear have to be reduced to a minimum. Special base fluids and specific additives must be used in order to achieve optimum performance at elevated temperatures.
Good penetration ability and adhesiveness are basic requirements for chain oils. The inner parts of the chains must be lubricated to not wear out, while the adhesion must be excellent to avoid centrifugal or drip-off losses. This is especially relevant for high temp chain oils because of the viscosity-temperature dependency.
Particularly for high-temperature applications, evaporation losses and the appearance of residues are important. Low evaporation losses allow longer relubrication periods and less contamination in exhaust filter systems. The residues after evaporation must still be smooth and capable of flowing to prevent the single chain links from blocking. The smooth residues must be able to redissolve in fresh oil.
The flash points of high temp chain oils play a decisive role. There should be a safety gap between the flash point and maximum operating temperature of the chain to avoid ignition and fire.
Application of High Temp Chain Oil
High temp chain oil has a wide, high application temperature range of -10°F (-23°C) to 1015°F (546°C).

Structure Parameter |
Specific Value Range |
|
Injection pressure |
For small automatic oil sprayers: 0.3 - 0.8 MPa; for medium-sized automatic oil sprayers: 0.6 - 1.2 MPa; for large industrial automatic oil sprayers: 1.0 - 2.0 MPa and above. |
|
Nozzle diameter |
0.3 - 2.5 Millimeters (for fine spraying operations: 0.3 - 1 millimeter; for ordinary spraying: 1 - 1.5 millimeters; for scenarios requiring a large amount of oil spraying: 1.5 - 2.5 millimeters). |
|
Movement speed of spray gun |
Generally 50 - 500 millimeters/second (The specific speed depends on factors such as spraying precision requirements, workpiece shape and size.). |
|
Rotation speed of rotary table (if any) |
10 - 300 Revolutions per minute (For example, for spraying small workpieces, the rotation speed of the rotary table may be higher; for spraying large and complex-shaped workpieces, the rotation speed will be relatively lower.). |
|
Conveyor speed (for oil sprayers with conveyor devices) |
0.5 - 5 Meters/minute (The conveyor speed needs to match the oil spraying speed and drying time to ensure spraying quality.). |
|
Oil pump flow rate |
Depending on the size of the equipment and oil spraying requirements, the oil pump flow rate of small equipment may be 5 - 20 liters/minute, and that of large equipment can reach 50 - 200 liters/minute or more. |
● Significant savings in repair and spare costs
● Increased machine reliability
● Up to 50% savings in lubricant costs due to accurate timing and dosing of lubricants
● Fewer shutdowns and production losses
● Reduced environmental impact
● Greater workers' safety

Basic Components of Automatic Oiler Systems
Metering Device
At the heart of every automatic oiler system is a metering device. The fluid in such a system would take the path of least resistance, leading it to only one of the points. To prevent fluid from taking the path of least resistance we use metering devices.
Pump
The pump provides flow of oil or grease under pressure to actuate the metering device(s). Various pumps offer a variety of flow rates and pressure ranges – and compatibility with various power sources – so the selection of the pump will be based on the needs of the system and what power sources are available. Pumps used with injectors must also include a vent valve so the injectors can reset.
Controller
A controller runs a schedule or program to dispense lubrication on a regular basis. Some pumps have a built-in controller, but many systems use a controller that is separate from the pump. Because the controllers are programmable, they are very versatile and therefore a few controllers can cover a broad range of applications.
Tubing and Fittings
The correct tubing must be used when selecting system components because it needs to be strong enough to handle the pressure developed in the system, and it needs to be of sufficient diameter to allow the grease or oil to flow through it without creating excessive pressure.
