Key Features
1. Drop-Forged Construction
Each link plate is precision drop-forged from 40Cr/45# alloy steel, followed by controlled quenching and tempering. This process aligns the metal grain structure with the direction of tensile load, resulting in superior fatigue resistance compared to laser-cut or stamped alternatives. Typical hardness range: HRC 38-42 at the pin hole area, HRC 42-46 at the wheel contact surface.
2. Sealed Bearing Technology
All wheel assemblies utilize permanently lubricated double-sealed deep groove ball bearings (standard) or tapered roller bearings (HA model). Benefits include zero re-greasing under normal conditions, rolling friction coefficient below 0.003, and operating noise under 62 dB at rated load. High-temperature bearing options available up to 300C.
3. Multi-Directional Flexibility
The articulated pin-and-bushing design allows the chain to flex freely in both horizontal (minimum R600) and vertical (minimum R2500) planes. This flexibility enables complex three-dimensional conveyor routing without intermediate transfer points.
4. Surface Protection Options
Three surface treatment grades are available: E-Coating (black epoxy electrophoretic coating, standard) provides 200+ hours salt spray resistance; Zinc plating adds corrosion protection for humid environments; hot-dip galvanizing delivers maximum durability for outdoor or wet-process applications.
5. Interchangeable Design
All QXG200 variants share identical pitch, pin diameter, and attachment interface dimensions. This allows field upgrades from Standard to Heavy-Duty by simply replacing individual chain links, minimizing production downtime during capacity expansion projects.

Application
The QXG200 Single-I Conveyor Chain is widely deployed across the following industries:
Automotive Painting Lines
Primary application for QXG200 chains. Used in electrodeposition (E-coat), primer, base coat, and clear coat conveyance stages. Temperature resistance (up to 250C with HA model) accommodates paint curing oven sections. Single-I design allows easy access for spray gun maintenance and quality inspection.
Electroplating & Surface Treatment
Widely used in zinc, nickel, chrome, and decorative electroplating lines. Corrosion-resistant surface treatments withstand prolonged exposure to plating bath vapors and rinse water. Vertical wheel design prevents derailment during tank immersion zones.
Appliance Manufacturing
Employed in refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner, and microwave oven assembly lines. The 200mm pitch and 80-120 kg per-point capacity matches typical appliance component weights.
General Material Handling
Suitable for warehouse overhead storage/retrieval systems, garment handling, meat processing, and light-to-medium industrial assembly lines where single-rail simplicity is preferred.
Performance Advantages
High Load Capacity: Up to 120 kg per suspension point (HA model) with 95 kN breaking strength.
Low Maintenance: Sealed-for-life bearings eliminate routine lubrication. Average maintenance interval: 12-18 months.
Long Service Life: Drop-forged + heat-treated construction delivers 8-12 years typical lifespan in automotive paint shops.
Quiet Operation: Precision wheels with sealed bearings produce < 62 dB(A) at rated speed.
Energy Efficiency: Low rolling resistance reduces drive motor power consumption by 15-20%.
Easy Installation: Modular link-by-link assembly allows on-site joining without special tools.
Working Principle
The QXG200 chain operates as the traction element in a continuous-loop single-I overhead conveyor system. The chain is driven by a caterpillar or sprocket drive unit located at one end of the line. Drive friction is transmitted through engagement between the drive unit gripping elements and the chain link plates or attachment pins.
As the drive unit pulls the chain forward, the horizontal wheels roll along the bottom flange of the I-beam track, converting rotary motion into linear conveying motion. Suspended loads hang from designated attachment points on the chain, spaced at regular intervals (typically 200-600 mm).
At the far end, the chain passes around a return idler and travels back to complete the loop. A take-up device maintains proper tension throughout thermal cycles and compensates for gradual elongation due to wear.
In horizontal curves, articulated joints allow the chain to follow curved paths while vertical wheels prevent derailment. In vertical bends, both wheel types share the load during elevation transitions.
