Product Description
The device adopts a transmission device with a planetary reducer belt structure.The standard number of teeth of the drive wheel is 10. If the user has special needs, on the premise of ensuring the strength of the reducer, a drive wheel with 13 teeth can be provided. The speed range is 0.5 to 10m/min, taking into account the smoothness and stability of line transportation.For service life, it is recommended that the linear speed should be 2 to 6m/min within the allowable range of the conveying volume. When designing this drive, it was considered that the drive may be damaged due to accidents such as overloading, so it is equipped with a safety pin to protect the drive. As soon as the traction force is overloaded, the pin will be cut off immediately to protect the drive device.

Case 1: Closed-Track Overhead Conveyor in Painting Lines In automotive and appliance painting lines, angular drive units are typically installed every 100–150 meters of track. The drive synchronizes with adjacent drives via PLC to maintain uniform line speed. Typical configuration: 2.2 kW motor, 1:40 reducer, 13-tooth sprocket, XT-160 chain. Operating temperature: ambient 30–60°C (line is pre-heated from oven zones).
Case 2: Power and Free Conveyor in Assembly Lines In automotive final assembly, the angular drive unit works with a friction drive or caterpillar drive to provide bi-directional power and free flow. The drive unit is sized to handle 5–10 simultaneous workpieces on the line, with smooth start/stop control via VFD (variable frequency drive). The standard ADU-1.5 or ADU-2.2 model is typical.
Case 3: Heavy-Duty Material Handling in Steel Mills In steel mill coil handling, the drive unit must handle 3–5 ton workpieces with frequent start/stop cycles. ADU-4.0 with 1:50 reducer ratio is the standard selection, paired with 13-tooth sprocket and XT-200 chain. The drive operates at 30 rpm output, providing the high torque required for coil transport without chain slip.
