2. Use a chain length gauge

3. Measure the elongation of the conveyor chain

4. Calculate the elongation length: Calculate the elongation length of the conveyor chain, which is compared with the limit value of the chain elongation in the previous item.

4. Precautions

- Clean the chain: Before measuring, make sure the chain surface is clean and free of impurities to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
- Fix the chain: During the measurement process, make sure the chain is in a fixed state to avoid measurement errors caused by chain movement.
- Take the average value of multiple measurements: In order to improve the measurement accuracy, you can measure multiple times at the same position and take the average value as the final result.
- Chains of different standards: For different types of conveyor chains (such as American standards, DIN standards, etc.), their pitch, chain width, chain height and other parameters may be different, so they should be measured according to the specific model.
