Analysis of the problem of wear on the conveyor belt guide roller

In the power system, the main function of the conveyor belt is to transport coal, transporting coal from the coal unloading point to the boiler and coal bunker to ensure the continuous supply of coal and fuel transportation.

The operation of the conveyor belt is mainly achieved by the motor driving the belt roller. The belt deviates during operation, causing the belt roller to move axially.

When the bearing lacks axial positioning, it is easy for the inner ring of the bearing to slide relative to the shaft, resulting in shaft wear. When the shaft is worn, according to the traditional repair process, it is more often repaired by welding the shaft and then machining.

The welding method will inevitably produce thermal stress.

If it cannot be eliminated, there will be a risk of shaft head fracture in severe cases. And disassembly and transportation take up more repair time, causing unnecessary waste.

The application of polymer composite material online repair is a new process of implementation plan. It is a cold welding (bonding) technology. It will not generate high temperature during the online repair process, protect the equipment body from damage, and is not limited by the unilateral wear of the shaft during the repair process. This technology can implement on-site rapid repair of wear problems according to the wear size of the vacuum pump shaft to resume production.

What are the steps for composite material engineers to perform on-site repairs?

1. Mold processing: Make a standard split mold (double-sided positioning).

2. Surface treatment: Degreasing, grinding, cleaning, ensuring the surface is clean, dry and strong.

3. Blending materials: Accurate proportions and uniform blending.

4. Applying materials: Ensure 2211F bonding, filling and thickness.

5. Installing the mold: Install and fix the mold with 803 release agent applied on the inner surface to ensure that excess material is squeezed out.

6. Demolding: After curing, disassemble the mold and clean up the excess material.

7. Assembly: After heating the bearing, assemble it as a whole, and the repair is completed.
